Stonewall Kickball is a LGBTQ & Ally community-based, non-profit sports league that strives to raise funds for local non-profit organizations. Our league values each player for who they are and what they bring to the leagues community.
This year Stonewall Kickball has chosen to partner with R.E.A.D. to address some of the struggles LBGTQ+ Youth in DC face through the power of books. We are raising funds to provide books to LBGTQ+ youth that address LGBTQ+ themes and represent LGBTQ+ narratives. These books will provide LGBTQ+ youth access to characters whose narratives mirror their own, offer emotional support and address pertinent LGBTQ+ topics, and provide educational information about the LGBTQ+ civil rights movement.
Support our efforts by making a donation below or by purchasing a specific book in our online bookstore! All donations will be used to purchase books, and all books will be delivered to identified local schools or distributed via our non-profit partners.
